Objective:
The Conference on Agricultural Sector Insights aims to promote the use of General and Partial Equilibrium Models (GEMs and PEMs) as key analytical tools for evidence-based policymaking in agriculture. The event will serve as a platform for CICA Member States to exchange experience, share best practices, and strengthen analytical capacity to address challenges such as supply chain disruptions, trade shocks, and climate change. By fostering cooperation and integrating advanced modeling approaches, the conference supports CICA’s Economic Dimension and Confidence Building Measures, contributing to sustainable agricultural development and regional food security in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
