The Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with the support of the CICA Secretariat, is pleased to announce an international essay writing competition on the following topic: “Youth as Catalysts for Peace, Cooperation and Sustainable Development in the CICA Region”.
Dimension: CICA Human Dimension
Key guidelines: Essays must be written in English, 1,500–2,000 words, and submitted as a PDF.
Deadline: Send your essays by 15 July 2025 to: azeyouth@mys.gov.az and youthcontest@s-cica.org. Winners will be announced by September 2025 on the Ministry’s website https://www.mys.gov.az/az and “Announcements” section of the CICA website http://www.s-cica.org/ and on their social networks.
Who can participate: Young people aged 18 to 30 from CICA Member States.
Prize: A fully funded 3-day trip to Baku, Azerbaijan for the awarding ceremony and sightseeing tour in October 2025.
