Objective:
The event will launch the “Circular Green Tourism in the CICA Countries” project initiated under the CICA Chairmanship of Azerbaijan. The project aims to promote sustainable and circular approaches in the tourism sector, contributing to socio-economic growth while reducing environmental impact.
The kick-off meeting serves as a platform to identify key challenges, share regional experiences, and initiate dialogue on advancing circular, resource-efficient, and community-based tourism across CICA Member States. The outcomes of this exchange will help shape the agenda of the upcoming Circular Green Tourism Conference in Baku, where Member States will further build on these discussions to define collective priorities and actions within the CICA framework.
The project will continue through 2026, culminating in a final two-day conference in Baku to showcase outcomes and future initiatives in circular green tourism.
