On 23 October 2020, at the invitation from UN Resident Coordinator for the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Executive Director Mr. Kairat Sarybay participated in online celebration of UN’s 75th anniversary. Celebration was attended by the UN Secretary General, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and diplomatic corps.
Executive Director in his congratulatory remarks commended UN’s significant and leading role in global multilateral efforts. He underlined common ideals between UN and CICA; and the importance of their relations.
In the wake of the challenges posed by COVID19 pandemic, Executive Director highlighted the need of more coordinated efforts to accelerate the post-pandemic recovery.
