On 30 October 2020, The Executive Director H.E. Ambassador Mr. Kairat Sarybay held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Saidikram Niyazhodjaev Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan at CICA headquarters.
During the warm and friendly conversation, interlocutors discussed a wide range of contemporary issues related to the current activities and initiatives on development of the CICA forum. Parties agreed that to facilitate the CICA process it is required to have Member States' goodwill towards strengthening confidence-building measures and establishing new ways of cooperation in addressing today's issues.
On the outcome of the meeting, the Executive Director and Ambassador Mr. S. Niyazhodjaev reached an agreement on maintaining close cooperation and interaction in the implementation of initiatives at the CICA platform.
