On November 02, 2020, The Executive Director H.E. Ambassador Mr. Kairat Sarybay held a courtesy meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary H.E. Mr. Prabhat Kumar of Republic of India in Nur-Sultan.
Executive Director appreciated India’s support and active role in CICA process. The sides discussed the further possible contribution from Indian side in capacity of co-coordinator in CICA CBMs of Energy Security and Development of secure and effective systems of transportation corridors, and also other possible prospects of cooperation.
During the meeting sides agreed that member states must refrain from blocking CICA initiatives due to the political consideration, and aspire to create an environment of confidence to cooperate on issues of common interests.
Ambassador Mr. Kumar assured for India’s continuous support and active participation in proposed CICA initiatives.
