On 20 August 2024, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) held an online Special Working Group (SWG) meeting under the Chairmanship of Kazakhstan, facilitated by the CICA Secretariat.
The meeting started discussions on updating the CICA Rules of Procedure and marked the opening of a series of meetings devoted to the preparation for the 7th Ministerial Council Meeting later this year.
Discussions will continue at the next session of the SWG on 27 August.
