On 27 August 2024, the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) resumed an online Special Working Group (SWG) meeting under the Chairmanship of Kazakhstan, facilitated by the CICA Secretariat.
The meeting continued the discussion of updated Rules of Procedure as one of areas in the process of transformation of CICA into a full-fledged regional international organization, launched by the Sixth CICA Summit in Astana in 2022.
Discussions will continue at the next session of the SWG on 11 September.
