Astana, 3 December 2024 – The CICA Special Working Group, under the chairmanship of Kazakhstan and with the support of the CICA Secretariat, held a meeting at the Kazakh Foreign Ministry to discuss key documents in preparation for the 7th CICA Ministerial Council, scheduled for 17 December 2024.
Participants held a productive dialogue to reach consensus on essential documents that will further strengthen CICA’s role as a pan-Asian platform for peace and cooperation. The SWG positively considered the annual plan of implementation of confidence building measures and the budget of the CICA Secretariat for 2025.
This meeting underscores the continued commitment of CICA Member States to regional stability and cooperation in Asia.
