7-11 April 2025 – an online training programme on crime intelligence analysis was conducted for law enforcement agencies of the Member States of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA). The programme was organized by the Turkish International Academy against Drugs and Organized Crime (TADOC) in cooperation with the CICA Secretariat. The training was attended by representatives of CICA Member States – Azerbaijan, India, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Sri Lanka and Tajikistan.
As part of the training programme, participants learned techniques and developed skills for gathering and analyzing operational crime-related information using a range of tools, including modern software solutions. They also acquired practical skills in creating, managing and utilizing databases related to crimes and individuals involved in criminal activities. The training, organized by TADOC, generated strong interest and received positive feedback from participants.
The Republic of Türkiye serves as the coordinator for the priority area “New Challenges and Threats (General)” within the framework of CICA’s confidence building measures and brings extensive experience in organizing seminars, training sessions and courses for the Member States in this field. This workshop marked another contribution by Türkiye to building the capacity of law enforcement agencies in the Member States and fostering practical cooperation within the CICA framework.
