Prospects of enhancing Thailand’s role at CICA platform and issues of inter-regional cooperation within CICA Space were discussed during the courtesy meeting held by CICA Executive Director Ambassador Kairat Sarybay with H.E. Russia reaffirms its interest in the incremental development of the CICA process and expresses its support for the priorities of Kazakhstan’s Chairmanship. This was expressed at the meetings of CICA Executive Director Ambassador Kairat Sarybay with the officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in Moscow.

The executive director of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Secretariat, on Wednesday extended his New Year wishes to the Chinese people.

The Year of the Rat leaves and the Year of the Ox begins according to the Chinese lunar calendar. On the occasion of the upcoming Spring Festival and Lunar New Year, Executive Director of the CICA Secretariat, Ambassador Kairat Sarybay expressed sincere congratulations to the people of China channeling them through CCTV, People's Daily Newspaper and Xinhua News Agency.

Cooperation of the CICA countries in the economic dimension was discussed at a joint meeting of the CICA Secretariat and the Diplomatic Business Club in Nur-Sultan on February 5, 2021.
