The Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) extends its warmest congratulations on the occasion of the National Day of the People's Republic of China.
We sincerely appreciate China's vibrant role in advancing the CICA and active coordination and co-coordination in a number of priority areas and organization of remarkable events within the framework of CICA, including recently held the Think Tank Forum and Youth Development Forum.
The People's Republic of China has been a proactive member of CICA contributing to the Secretariat's human and budget resources. We express our gratitude for the adoption of the Road Map for CICA Transformation by the CICA Ministerial Council. This milestone marks a significant step towards the evolution of CICA into a full-fledged international organization, and we have strong confidence that China's pivotal role within CICA will be further increased in the course of the transfomation process.
