According to the updated CICA Catalogue of Confidence Building Measures (adopted by the Meeting of the CICA Ministers of Foreign Affairs on October 12, 2021), with the aim of enhancing cooperation, creating and strengthening an atmosphere of peace, confidence and friendship in the priority area Finance, the Member States can implement the following measures:
1. Widening of cooperation among financial sectors.
2. Strengthening cooperation in exchanging information including suspicious financial transactions based on national legislation of Member States and international standards and through effective use of existing mechanisms to the extent possible and in sharing experience between financial intelligence units of the Member States in the area of fighting against money laundering, financing of terrorism and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
