13 June 2024 — Astana, Kazakhstan — The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan, with support from the CICA Secretariat, hosted an expert meeting in Astana to prepare for the upcoming CICA Ministerial Conference on Environmental Issues on 28 August 2024 in Astana.
Delegates reviewed and finalized the outcome document of the conference, achieving consensus among CICA Member States. The meeting highlighted the cooperative, multilateral spirit of CICA and fostered constructive dialogue.
Initiated by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Sixth CICA Summit in October 2022, the Ministerial Conference will mark a significant step in regional environmental collaboration.
