CICA Deputy Secretary General Ms. Zhang Ling held an online working meeting with focal points of CICA Member States planning to organize events under the CICA Plan of Implementation of Confidence Building Measures for 2024. Representatives of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Turkiye and Russia shared the progress of preparation of upcoming seminars and training courses.
At the online meeting, Ms. Zhang Ling provided information on the status of the implementation of the 2024 Plan so far and expressed her sincere appreciation for the efforts made by the Member States in the practical implementation of the annual CICA Plan. The representatives of the CICA Member States updated the new dates and format of the events of the Plan scheduled until the end of the year.
