Participants: Representatives of CICA Member States and Observers, officials from the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Authority, and representatives of international organizations, development agencies, investment promotion bodies, and the private sector.
Objective:
The Online Seminar titled “Limitless Untapped Opportunities at the Suez Canal Economic Zone - One of the World’s Most Important Maritime Routes” aims to present the latest developments and investment opportunities within the SCZone, one of Egypt’s most ambitious development projects. The seminar will highlight the Zone’s strategic role in linking the markets of Asia, Europe, and Africa through world-class infrastructure, industrial clusters and logistics centers.
The seminar will promote investment cooperation and partnership between CICA Member States and the SCZone Authority, explore avenues for sustainable economic development, and contribute to advancing CICA’s Confidence Building Measures in the economic dimension, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
