Participants: Mid-level law enforcement officers from CICA Member States specializing in combating and investigating organized crime.
Objectives: The program, organized by Türkiye within the CICA Confidence Building Measures framework, aims to strengthen the capacity of law enforcement officers working in organized crime units. It will equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to understand organized crime structures and methods, manage investigations and operations, explain the intelligence cycle and relevant information sources, and apply appropriate investigation techniques such as technical and physical surveillance. The training will also enhance participants’ ability to work with informants, plan and conduct operations to seize criminal proceeds and apprehend suspects, take statements in compliance with organizational standards and judicial procedures, and collect evidence and prepare court files for prosecution.
