Objectives:
The CICA Conference will convene high-level representatives of Member States and academia to explore women’s contributions to sustainable development, with a focus on advancing the SDGs, strengthening participation in digitalization and the private sector, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhancing engagement in environmental sustainability and climate action. The Conference will also set the stage for the launch of the inaugural meeting of the CICA Women Council.
The first meeting of the CICA Women Council will operationalize its mandate by fostering coordination, dialogue, and experience-sharing among Member States. Discussions will center on women’s role in sustainable growth, building on the Conference outcomes.
