Participants: High-level representatives of CICA Member States and relevant international organizations in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development.
Objectives:
The high-level side event aims to strengthen regional dialogue and cooperation in addressing global climate change and its impact on sustainable development in the CICA region.
The discussion will focus on key environmental challenges, including climate change, water resource management, pollution control and biodiversity conservation, with an emphasis on sharing national experiences and best practices among CICA Member States.
It will also explore opportunities to enhance coordination and promote practical cooperation within the framework of CICA confidence building measures in the environmental dimension, contributing to a shared understanding of climate-related risks and more coordinated regional responses.
