In solidarity with the people of Kazakhstan on the National Day of Mourning (September 25), flags at CICA Headquarters in Astana were lowered to half-mast following the tragic incident that caused the loss of the lives of servicemen in the line of duty in the Mangystau Region.
Messages of condolence from the Secretary General of CICA Ambassador Kairat Sarybay were sent to H.E. Mr. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and to H.E. Mr. Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, expressing sincere condolences over this tragic loss of life and honoring the memory of the fallen servicemen.
