On November 1-8, 2019, the Executive Director of the CICA Secretariat, H.Mirzozoda, was invited to Tashkent to take part in the 18th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on November 1-2 and the 7th scientific and practical conference of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (RATS SCO) on November 5-6, 2019.
In his speech at the RATS SCO conference, H.Mirzozoda briefed participants with the activities of the CICA in strengthening regional cooperation in combating new challenges and threats. In the framework of the implementation of the Protocol on Cooperation between the CICA and the RATS SCO, he suggested considering the possibility of the participation of experts from the CICA and SCO Member States in similar events of the two structures, in order to promote mutual understanding and develop cooperation in the area of new threats and challenges in Asian.
