As part of the implementation of CICA confidence building measures in human dimension, Deputy Secretary General Ms Chi Fang met with UN Women Representative to Kazakhstan Ms Maria Dotsenko on 10 April 2023.
During the working meeting, Ms Chi Fang briefed on CICA confidence building measures to promote cooperation, including through information and best practices exchanges and project activities to empower women and girls.
According to the parties, improving the economic situation of women and ensuring the growth of their well-being prevent social disadvantage, as well as violence against women and their children.
The meeting also discussed the possibility of implementing joint activities within the CICA Business Council and Business Forum, as well as the CICA Youth Council.
The parties agreed to continue close consultations on issues of mutual interest.
