On November 18, 2020, The Executive Director H.E. Ambassador Mr. Kairat Sarybay called on H.E. Mr. Koo Hong-seok Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea in Nur-Sultan.
Executive Director briefed about the upcoming events and CICA Chair’s vision. The parties discussed the further possible contribution from Korean side in capacity of coordinator of CBM in ‘Energy Security’ and ‘Information Technology’ and also other potential areas of cooperation.
During the friendly meeting, the sides agreed that member states must work together on issues of common interests and aspire to create an environment of confidence to cooperate in achieving common goals.
H.E. Mr. Koo Hong-seok reiterated Republic of Korea’s commitment to CICA objectives and readiness to continue further efforts in development of the Conference to promote peace, security and stability in Asia.
