The headquarters of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) was visited by a delegation of the Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel, consisting of Ambassador Eli Emanuel Lev and Mr Zamir Shimon.
CICA Secretary General Ambassador Kairat Sarybay briefed the Israeli delegation on the history of establishment, the main activities and current priorities of CICA, in particular the transformation process. The interlocutors highly appreciated the role of CICA as a dialogue platform for reducing international tensions and developing cooperation on the Asian continent.
Ambassador Kairat Sarybay thanked Israel for its valuable input into the CICA process, including voluntary contributions, and for its active participation in the organization's activities.
Ambassador Eli Emanuel Lev noted that CICA could always rely on Israel’s constructive contribution to the development of dialogue within the organization.
